The C 414 TL is the third revision of the C 414 and was a response to customers request for a microphone that was closer in sound to the original CK12 capsule used in AKG’s earliest microphone. The TL used a modern re-creation of the CK12 capsule and a transformerless output stage for brighter sound with a lift above 4K.
